Student driven program

The faculty in the philosophy department commit themselves to you as a student through their work in the classroom. Not only will you receive close attention in the classroom, but the faculty also serve as advisors for you to ensure that you are on the right track with your studies and will graduate when intended.
Upon entry into the philosophy department, an advisor will be assigned to you. It is recommended that you meet with your advisor at least once a semester. To set up an appointment with your advisor, contact him/her directly. If you have forgotten who is assigned as your advisor, log in to My Missouri State, and select the Student tab, then Student Profile link.
